My name is Katie Bertsche and I am studying science illlustration at California State University, Monterey Bay. Previously I completed the Science Illustration certificate at the Rhode Island School of Design.  They keep us very busy here and I hope to add more work in the near future!

I went to university at the University of New South Wales in Australia where I studied honeyeaters (birds) and zoology.  I’ve been birding all over the world, I love scuba diving, and I have a not-so-small obsession with jellyfish and cephalopods. I also am somewhat obsessed with extinct megafauna mammals.
